Steve, Rob, and Nick hit the road around noon from Oxnard and pedaled the scenic Pacific Coast Highway. This was Nick's
first significant distance ride. Kyle's bike did not arrive so he rode in the van with Rob's dad who supported the group on the
first day. Things went smoothly until they ran out of daylight in Santa Monica. So they packed the bikes in the van and were
taken 10-miles to the Super 8 motel in North Hollywood. They later went out to eat with an ATO alumni, Jason Dove. Thanks
again Jason for the great meal and company.
Norm & Cricket's flight arrived around 9:00pm. They picked up the rental van, and stayed overnight with daughter Daphne in
Toluca Lakes. Their luggage and bike did not arrive, so they'll have to pick them up the next day.
