Final day. The guys are pumped in Pahrump. They know they'll be in Vegas by mid-afternoon. They look much more vibrant
than 2-days ago. But first, they have a 3000-ft climb up to Scenic Mountain halfway to Las Vegas. It seems that climb took
forever. Again, Rob, Steve, and now Kyle attacked that mountain aggressively. The remaining riders struggled up the hill to
lunch. Then the remaining 25-miles was a screaming downhill to Vegas. That was sweet and wasn't too cold. Rob had a flat
and kept he and Steve behind. The entire team re-formed and pedaled together the final 5-miles to the New York New York
hotel. We checked in, showered, and boxed up the bikes to ship from a FED EX outpost. Norm & Cricket spent the evening
with a stroll on the strip and supper at an Italian restaurant. The ATO team hooked up with an ATO alum and spent the night
gambling their life's fortune. Their flights departed around noon the next day, so they celebrated as much as they could. They
deserved it.....this trip was challenging.
